Hi there, as you might have noticed the last few days some weird stuff is going on. People keep attacking our site, even though we\'re using CloudFlare. Because of these attacks our web host decided to move us to an other server so other sites should work correctly. Because we\'ve moved a couple of time before our data is in a lot of places, resulting in the loss of some data after our latest move. This loss of data caused a Puhekupla system failure, resulting in a stopped Furni uploader, version updater, translation updater, and a lot of other systems as well. I\'m trying to fix those so the site could function normally again but because of my full-time job I\'m unable to spend a lot of time on this (and yes, it is a lot of work). Because these attacks are still going on I have two options: - upgrade our CloudFlare to protect us from all DDoS attacks (200$/month) - upgrade to a private server (VPS) so we have more resources available, but are still vulnerable for attacks (15€/month) these options are pricey and because I don\'t earn a lot of money with the site those options are not an option. Hi guys! as you might have noticed, I didn't blog for a while now. There are a couple of reasons which I'll try to explain here.. :-) - We're working on new stuff, which takes time to develop, test and improve. - I'm recoding parts of our system, to make it better, faster and more flexible. - I'm almost graduating and finishing my final intern ship this month. - I'm starting a full-time job (40 hours/week) next month. See? Loads of stuff happening. We're currently working on some new features. One of those new features are Puhekupla Points. You can use those points to buy profile items in the shop. We'll add "rights" later, so you can edit your comments. We might even add smilies and other nice stuff you can buy with your points. You can earn points by being an active member of our community. For whatever reason, people like to create fake Habbo's, to try and trick players of Habbo to sign up, meanwhile stealing all of your personal information. **How do I know if it's real or not?** Only ever put your account details into www.habbo.com - if it's another name, do not put your account details (email & password) into these websites. **What can I do to stop it?** Don't get fooled by spammers on Habbo. If someone's spamming "come to this hotel and get free credits", use the Help tool immediately to report the user to a Moderator. PixelBlitz is a monthly graphics competition Puhekupla runs for all of our budding pixel artists out there to take part in to challenge themselves to create better and better graphics. Each month we open up voting to the public with two or more finalists, and let the community vote who should be crowned the winner of that selected month.
