Welcom, fellow readers. It's a long time ago since I wrote an article.. but this time i really couldn't deny writing it. This time I really need to thank **roan100** who told me this. He's now also responsible for the new puhekupla habbo staff list. So.. remember November 2007? All french Moderators were replaced by moderators from Singapore (or an other foreign country). Being a Moderator doesn't require much experience, so why not hire people from cheap countries? Then, we have February/March 2010, all german Moderators were replaced by Moderators from foreign countries. In the mean time, around 50 Moderators were replaced from CA, US, UK & AU, being replaced by Moderators from Singapore. And last but not least, moderators were laid off in Habbo Italy and replaced by MOD-SOS in September 2010. But now, in October 2010 - all Moderators from Habbo Spain are replaced by foreigners! Since June 2010 there were lots and lots of new hires at Sulake Spain, this made me and roan100 wonder. We've checked everything, and every Moderator from before June 2010 is gone! Apparently this is also the first time the abbreviation UCSG is used :) Battle Banzai is a continuum to Battle Ball, a multi-player game introduced in Habbo Hotel back in 2006. Battle Banzai is a strategy game that can be played in Habbo Hotel users' virtual rooms with four teams of up to five players. The goal is to bounce on all the tiles and capture as many as possible. If you bounce three times on one tile, it will lock so other players can't steal it. The team with the most tiles wins! The new super-cool feature in Battle Banzai is that the players can make their own Battle Banzai Arenas with Banzai Furni (e.g. Banzai tiles, gates, scoreboards, a timer) and host their own games. The idea is to make up own rules and create the actual playing fields; the power is completely in the user's hands! But this can't be the reason if Habbo itself is insecure! Habbo actually has a XSS security hole, so people could steal your SESSIONID and can login without of knowing your password! #### **New** site, #### **New** accounts and a #### **New** article. How refreshing? This time I will make a special about Ione & Becs, or commenly known as “Rebecca & Rebecca” ;-). The so-far greatest & most famous Sulake Staffs ever existed. They both have worked ages at Sulake, and both left the company some years ago. Ione started working for Habbo UK, and Becs too! Only Ione was in the UK office, and Becs worked from home. Ione was since 2001 the Director of Community for all Habbo Hotels, Becs joined the community operations unit in HQ in 2004 as the Community Operations Manager. I believe, Ione & Becs were one of the people who made Habbo as we know it now. We must be really thankfull. #### **Ione** {.left} Ione, aka Rebecca “Ribs” Susiaho Norman joined Sulake on 01 May 2001. She was the first Site Producer for Habbo UK. Shortly after that, in May 2001 she was promoted to Director of Community. That’s one hell of position-change. First she was writing Advertising Sales & Marketing Campaigns and edited the site, and then she was operating all Community activities. She directly managed a split in-house/remote tam, with additional responsibility for Community Managers in all markets. Her responsibilities included Community Management, Moderation, Safety and Customer Services. In September 2006, Rebecca got the position Director of User Experience. She directly managed a split in-house/remote team, with additional responsibility for both Site Producers and Community Managers in all markets. Her responsibilities included community management, customer services, moderation, site production and email marketing. Role subsequently split to create two separate roles: Ione then specialised in Site Production. So, August 2007 Ione became Director of Site Production. She directly managed a split in-house/remote team, with additional responsibility for Site Producers in all markets. Her responsibilities included strategic planning and implementation of site production, email marketing and community management through in-game events with the Habbo virtual world and social network. In January 2009 Ione left Sulake. She is now working for Wolfplain, as (again) Director of Community. Rebecca understands the very soul of community management, both from the creative and from the safety/moderation angle. I was the first Hotel Manager, but at the beginning everyone mucked in, so I also answered emails, filled in as Head Hobba and even made the tea! I\'m now Sulake\'s Community Director, which means I help all the Head Hobbas and Player Support peeps from all the Habbo Hotels around the world. I like to keep up to date with hotel happenings though, so I often visit the different hotels and sometimes it might even be me who answers your email (so best be polite, just in case)...*[/spoiler] #### **Becs ** {.right} Becs / Rebecca Newton joined Habbo UK Ltd in July 2001. She was a Moderator for Habbo UK. In April 2003, she took ofer the Head-Hobba position. Over all her years, she mostly worked from home. Since then, becs was hirering massive of Hobba’s, to keep the hotel safe. Commonly known as “Becs’ Sibblings”. She also hired lots of volunteer & paid Moderators. In December 2003 was an announcement that GlitterKat would be the new Head Hobba, and Becs was promoted to HQ. Since January 2004 Becs is the Manager of Community Operations for all Habbo Hotels. Her responsibilities included: overseeing global online safety for Sulake.com, overseeing global Moderation efforts for the Sulake corporation, developing and implementing online moderation and safety policies and procedures, recruitment, training and professional development for Sulake\'s global Community and Customer Service staff, and setting policy and procedure for community interaction. Rebecca also served on the North American Management Team for Sulake North America, as Head of North American Community. During January 2006 Becs got the position “Manager of Community Training & Development”. In september 2006, when Ione took the lead in Site Production, Becs took over Director of Community. In October 2007 she left Sulake. This role subsequently split in 3 different roles, Safety & Education Officer (Redtiz), Safety & Education Community Assistant (BarbaraAnne) and Director of Customer Service & Moderation (Helmer). She has a deserved reputation within the field and is an huge asset to any organisation.” * December 6, 2007 Colm Connolly, Player Support Lead, Sulake UK worked with Rebecca at Sulake Inc.* [/spoiler] [spoiler=Becs’ Story] I left a lucrative job, once again, to work for Habbo UK Ltd. in 2002. Habbo UK was amazing and way ahead of the curve. Again, I thought I\'d found the Holy Grail. I left RTI for AOL. I left AOL to consult. I left Fowler\'s for Habbo. I spent nearly 6 years at Habbo and worked with some amazing people. Sulake bought out Dee Edwards in October of 2002 (I think it was October) and began planning to open Habbo Hotels around the globe. By the time it was all said and done, Habbo was in 24 countries and we had 70 million users (or more, can\'t remember). It was an incredible learning experience and I was lucky enough to work with so many talented, dedicated, smart and creative people. I really loved the users as well. Working with young people is so rewarding and good for the soul. Working with people is good for the soul :-D. VanS. is from Habbo.DE. We have watched all the staffs and mods during the merge. Just kept an eye on who stayed, and who were fired. In this post I will tell you how many staffs must have left because of the merge, how long they have been working for Habbo until Sulake dumped them like they were rubbish. The staffs were fired because of the merge, or during something else. We can’t know everything. But here is our list, of staff we do know who were fired BECAUSE or DURING the merge. How we got it? Just noticed when a staff lost their badges, stopped loggin in & checking their sulake mail if it was valid or not. Ofcourse, this is so much more easier for Sulake. They have shut offices, they could reduce on lots of staffs & mods et cetera. Although, perhaps they shouldn’t have done it. Where is the sympathy for your workers, who have made Habbo on the top of social games. I believe Sulake lost their habbo-spirit. They only want to earn more money, and want to spend less money. Ofcourse it’s ideal for Sulake. Over 80 persons are fired because of the merge. Some were given a notice for a month, some a week… But! There is one person, who is fired without a single notice, without a single warning, after 5 years of hard work & extra not-paid hours. The Human Resource Management (Marjaana Murtomaa) has dumped (in my eyes) the specific person. I thought it was so low to do that, even if he was been noticed. I am talking about CrestHawk. CrestHawk started working for Sulake during 2006, for VMK. Together with his wife (Moiraine) they started to host events for Virtual Magic Kingdom. In October 2006 his wife went to Habbo, and in January 2008 CrestHawk followed. He became the Hotel Manager of Habbo North America (CA & US). But then, after countless unpreciated hours of work, they fired him. On the first of April, he was called by the HR Management. They said he must take his stuff, clean his desk and go. Together with Moiraine they cleaned his desk, and went home. Without even a notice, or having a good word for his work he was fired. I could see this wrong, in that case forgive me. The perhaps even sad part, is that the most of the MODS worked on CA, US, UK. Sulake had an incredible evil plan about them. Lets fire all the expensive MODS, located in CA, US & UK and lets hire the much more cheaper MODS from Singapore! So they say, so they did. During the end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010, all MODs who were located in CA, US or UK were fired. Even some who were volunteer moderator. The Singaporian MODs earn about 5 american dollars per hour (they don’t have an minimum salary in Singapore) *[Thx to Laurensh1 for noticing that]*. Cool, sulake! Lets hire Moderators who don’t understand Habbo’s, who don’t have experience with it, and who will probably never search friendly contact with them. _**#### # HABBO AU OFFICE:**_ Started in November 2004, with Yobbo, Bamaloo & Johno. By know (May 2010) they have Bamaloo, Elkah, Yobbo, Tootsweets, Fozzie & Kotone. In the end of May, Bamaloo & Kotone were fired. But then on 2 June 2010, the AU merged with the Habbo.Com. What would happen to the staffs and mods? Well, we figured out that Sulake had no mercy: Bye office, Bye staff – Thx a lot! (not?). The whole AU office is gone. Exactly 15 people from the Australian Region have been fired. [spoiler=Show me the list!] {.center}[/spoiler] #### _**# HABBO CA OFFICE:**_ Habbo CA office went open in April 2004, the hotel in June 2004. Dubya, Mags & Dileas were the staffs. Nowadays (May 2010) they have Puffin, Gingerly, Moiraine, CrestHawk, Samie, CryCrazy, MrsWhiskerton, Lynn, "Rachel B", "Brigid D", "Nora F", "Arvin G", "Hayley L" & Lethologica. But, Moiraine, CrestHawk, Samie, CryCrazy, MrsWhiskerton, "Rachel B", "Brigid D", "Nora F", "Arvin G", "Hayley L" and Lynn were all located in other offices (The most from Santa Monica Office). So, why keep an office open for 3 staffs? Oh what the habbo, lets shut it down! Byebye Lethologica & Gingerly, oh and lets keep Puffin.. she has some experience and has an senior position. On 5 May 2010, CA merged with US. Exactly 15 people who were located in Canada. [spoiler=Show me the list!] {.center}[/spoiler] #### _**# HABBO SG OFFICE:**_ The Habbo Singaporian Office opened in October 2004, with CheshireCat, Doelee & Saffron. Now (May 2010) Doelee and CheshireCat are still there, with Tallespin. There are only 3 staffs in the office, but the rumour goes there are also some Moderators are shifting via the office. On the second of June, Habbo Singapore merged with Habbo.COM. Not that much happened to Singapore, only CheshireCat was fired. But the interesting is that all the current MODs for english speaking hotels are operating in Singapore. Tallespin & Doelee are the first 2 foreigner staffs who joined the North America team. During the merge period there were 9 staffs fired in the Singaporian Region. [spoiler=Show me the list!] {.center}[/spoiler] #### _**# HABBO UK OFFICE:**_ This, is a big mistake from Sulake. Merging the UK hotel, which so much old facts, people et cetera. The office opened in January 2001, with Cindy as Community Manager & Apparatus as Hotel Manager. Nowadays (May 2010) they have 0rca, AdmAokiji, Bucho6, Flynn500, Gandalfthegrey., LadyJane21, Lost_Witness, Ludus, Pohjola, Redamulet, SoylentBob, SukiClever & TabiAlthea. TabiAlthea, Redamulet & AdmAokiji are the cheap Singaporian Moderators who do Player Support on UK. Most of the UK Staffs are internationally known, if they for example fire Lost_Witness the whole community will dislike Sulake. (Altough, probably they don't care.. they have shown us a lot other cruel things lately). In May 2010 the first layoffs fell in UK, Ludus & SukiClever were fired, Bucho6 followed in June 2010. The UK merge hasn't merged yet, so it's not quite sure who will stay or not. The other sad part is that Sulake fired the UK Mods bit by bit. When they hired new Singaporian MODs, they fired UK MODs - untill there was no original UK Moderator anymore. Even the really oldskool Moderators, who joined Sulake during the Hobba time (2001 - 2005) were fired, no mercy. 23 People so far have been fired from the United Kingdom region. [spoiler=Show me the list!]  {.center} [/spoiler] #### _**# HABBO US OFFICE:**_ The office for the new Habbo.COM. This is the office where the big group of staffs is located. It opened its doors during August 2004. They have had lots of staffs in the past years, during May 2010 they had: Puffin, Gingerly, Moiraine, CrestHawk, Samie, CryCrazy, MrsWhiskerton, Inari, SmoothCriminal, notmiceElf "Rachel B", "Brigid D", "Nora F", "Arvin G", "Hayley L" & Lethologica. Where Puffin, Gingerly & Lethologica were located in the Canada region. In this office had happen the most sad layoff of the whole merge (in my eyes). The layoff of CrestHawk. Also lots and lots of Moderators from the United States region had to search other work, because Sulake thought they were worthless & to expensive. Exactly 25 people from the United States region are fired, so far. [spoiler=Show me the list!] {.center}  {.center}[/spoiler] **So! Our article, we have counted 85 layoffs because of the merge.
